Jazz Hams are a Madison, Wisconsin band making music for people who like their grooves greasy, their solos spicy, and their jazz served with a suspicious amount of ham.

Blending jazz, funk, soul, and whatever else wandered into the rehearsal room that day, Jazz Hams specialize in tight grooves, loose behavior, and the occasional musical detour with no known return route. They’re equal parts pocket, punchline, and pork product.

Born from the fertile musical ecosystem of Madison, where you can find a great band, a great beer, and someone passionately debating the merits of a sharp ninth within a three-block radius, Jazz Hams bring an anything-goes spirit to every stage.
